Event Itinerary

The summer of 2012 salmon ladder derby starts Tuesday, May 1^st, and will run through to Monday, September 3^rd.

Monthly cash prizes will be drawn based on the ladder fish as of midnight on:

May 31^st:	1^st Prize: $1000	2^nd Prize: $250	3^rd Prize: $100
	The top 15 fish on the ladder automatically qualify for the Fish Off. Fish in positions 16 through to 50 are eligible for the mid-August Draw.
June 30^th:	1^st Prize: $5000 ($3000 in cash, $2000 in prizes)	2^nd Prize: $2000 ($1500 in cash, $500 in prizes)	3^rd Prize: $1000 ($500 in cash, $500 in prizes)
	The top 15 fish on the ladder automatically qualify for the Fish Off. Fish in positions 16 through to 50 are eligible for the mid-August Draw.
July 31^st:	1^st Prize: $5000 ($3000 in cash, $2000 in prizes)	2^nd Prize: $2000 ($1500 in cash, $500 in prizes)	3^rd Prize: $1000 ($500 in cash, $500 in prizes)

August 19^th:	Fish Off Draw made at noon for five Fish Off positions.
September 3^rd:	1^st Prize: $5000 ($3000 in cash, $2000 in prizes)	2^nd Prize: $2000 ($1500 in cash, $500 in prizes)	3^rd Prize: $1000 ($500 in cash, $500 in prizes)
	The top 50 fish on the ladder automatically qualify for the Fish Off.

Our 3^rd Annual Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby Fish Off will be held September 7^th and 8^th. The Ucluelet Salmon Festival and Wrap-up Celebration will be September 9^th. Join us for a salmon BBQ, entertainment, activities, closing ceremonies, and a celebration for monies raised for salmon enhancement throughout the summer! There will be no fishing on the day of the festival; awards will be issued on that day allowing our visitors ample time for travel.
