Annual Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby

Welcome to the Ucluelet Salmon Ladder Derby, where recreational fishermen are working together with salmon enhancement to replenish our natural resources.

From May 24th to September 3rd come and fish the Ladder Derby in Ucluelet. The top 5 fish of the month and the top 50 fish of the season are automatically entered into the September fish-off (September 11th and 12th). Low cost entry fees and fabulous prizes guarantee a wonderful time with a portion of the proceeds going to the Thornton Creek Hatchery, whose motto is "we hatch'em, you catch 'em".
